The house is coming along. Here are some photos of the deck and house before anything was done, and while things were getting going:

I could seriously not be happier with the work that Diane, Jenny, and DL did on it.
I've been very busy, experiencing feelings from the title of this post. Fourth of July was fun. Annette lives in an area that must be unique in the number of fireworks displays nearby, because, every direction you looked, you could see something going up! I took a large load of things up to her house to put into storage, and I just have one more load of boxes.
The rest of the stuff that needs to go is furniture. I've divided the furniture into two groups: the group that's staying till I sell the house, to show people what the rooms are for, and the group that's going out of the house before I show it, because it's just too much. I'm giving Annette some pieces, and she's keeping some for when I have a house. :)

Hey, Sis...I am so glad you are "wonderful" and things are looking up. I wish you would have taken a closer picture of the house after...hard to see the difference in the siding. The deck looks really nice and almost new. I have always loved your deck for its size and different levels. It makes me want a deck really badly and maybe even partially covered since the sun gets so bright and hot out there.
ReplyDeleteSteve and I got our upstairs guest bathroom all painted and fixed up - you would really like it. My next project is the dining room table and chairs and then the dining room itself. I like having these "projects" to do and it gives the two of us something to work on together. That has been fun and enlightening. We actually do like each other! :)
Well, I am off to bed and will chat with you soon. Hope we can get together again soon. You are always welcome up here and we can work something out with the RV for a few days or so. The pets can stay there and we will let you stay in the house - unless you are bad, and then you can go to the RV, too. LOL.

House really looks nice. You and your friends did a great job. Have a price in mind yet. I can probably go as high as $150K. :)
