Fourth Street Art Fair

Today and tomorrow are the days for the Fourth Street Art Fair, and I went today with Carla and Ann. I'd not met Ann before today, and .. what a neat person she is! We all had a really good time perusing the many artists' exhibits.

I loved the whole show, but my favorite stuff was the jewelry. I'd been long looking for a piece of something nice to hang from my gold collar necklace, and I found a strikingly beautiful pendant today! It has an opal, another stone from Australia that is yellow, and a peridot, all set in 14 and 18K yellow gold. I tried it on my collar and had to have it!


I also bought 3 photo prints of flowers, for which I'll find a place in my cottage. I have like.. no art in there now, so I will be able to find a place for them.

The day was warm, but not horrible, the sun shone, and there were vendors for drinks. We breakfasted at Village Deli, and lunched at Puccini's, laughed much, and didn't get back to Carla's till about 6.

Roy had made us pizzas, which he baked and we enjoyed with some wine. Perfect ending to a wonderful day!
