A gray day today at Forest City, Iowa. We arrived here yesterday afternoon and got parked in the lot outside the Visitor's Center, here at Winnebago Industries. This is where Michael and I came 2 years ago to have a few things fixed on our new Navion. This year, the only thing that I could think of to fix is that one of the blind end-caps was gone, and I bought a new one to replace it.
We walked into town and made it back to Ruby just before the rains came. It's poured off and on ever since. We played Mexican Train dominoes -- all 12 rounds! Fun! We didn't keep score, because Jack hates to lose. ;)
In a moment, we're going to head out to the factory tour in the driving rain. I think that'll be a fine thing to do in the rain!

Hey sis...I think, by the latest "Where is Janee now?" you are at brudder's house. Tell them I said hi. By the time you get here, you will have family overload!
ReplyDeleteWe got the approval from the HOA for a deck. We had to give them some plans, so I hope it is close to what it ends up being, or they might make us take it out! HA HA. Seriously, they did make me give them plans, but I think we are a bit flexible with how it turns out. I think they just want to be sure it isn't going to be too close to neighbors, or the wrong materials. I am pumped! Did I tell you we got the chairs redone. I got the webbing or whatever you call it, and Steve did it. They were tight to start with, and now they are a bit loose, but I still think they are good and they are so comfortable.
I have resigned myself to just keeping my mouth shut (and you know how hard that is for me) at work to get along with my boss. It sucks, but hey, what are you going to do...sooner or later, it is just not worth the effort anymore. I did apply for another job in the company, but haven't heard if I am even being considered for it. It is more systems related with some programming. They might want someone with more experience in programming than I have.
